The Challenge

The factory’s previous labels were fine for sub-zero temperatures after application and curing, but not for already frozen packages. They kept falling off, so you couldn’t identify the age, batch or type, making the seafood worthless and impacting the business financially and operationally.

The Solution

We assessed the materials and conditions before specifying top-coated, water-resistant paper labels. These were paired with highperformance, FR99 deep-freeze grade adhesive, specially designed to stick to paper and film in environments as low as -20°C. This approach worked well, with the labels staying put, batches of seafood easily identifiable, wastage and money saved.
