A major UK vehicle auction house needed short-term outdoor labels that would stick to vehicles in wet weather but could also be removed cleanly from bodywork.

Existing labels either slipped off in rain or bonded too strongly, risking damage to paintwork or windows. Lost lot numbers caused disruption and confusion.

After trialling several different materials, we used a polyester construction with an RM83 acrylic removable adhesive, engineered for outdoor exposure. The resulting labels worked perfectly for A4 dry toner desktop printing on demand.
